Writing4Healing Online Therapy Programme

 

A skilled counsellor is someone who can listen, understand, ease your pain and clarify your problems. But this has traditionally been available only to a minority of people who can attend sessions and who feel free to disclose their private life in face-to-face meetings.

 

However, in Online Therapy you and your counsellor never actually meet. To begin with we communicate only through writing, which gives you as much freedom as you choose. Computers, unlike people, don’t have eyebrows. In any case you can be assured that everything you tell us is strictly confidential.

 

If you feel the need for still greater privacy we don’t even need to know who you are. Even though The Writing4Healing Programme also includes the option of talking to your Counsellor, you can still remain anonymous. Moreover writing therapy offers something extra:  it enhances insight, because when you write you have to think. You actively engage in your own therapy.

 

But we must give you a caution: Writing4Healing is not for those who expect to transform their lives by just ‘taking the programme’. You will have to get in touch with your feelings and make the effort of putting them into words. You need be able to reflect upon yourself. The more open you are with the counsellor, the better the outcome.
